THULIUM LASER VAPORESECTION OF PROSTATE (THUVARP)

Thulium Laser Vaporisation of Prostate (THUVARP) is a minimally invasive procedure that uses laser energy to remove excess prostate tissue and improve urine flow. Like THULEP and THUVAP, THUVARP offers several benefits over traditional surgical methods like TURP.

During THUVARP, a small laser fiber is inserted through the urethra and into the prostate. The laser energy is then used to vaporize the excess tissue and create a channel for urine to flow through. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, recovery time is shorter than with traditional surgical methods.
